Gyplast Fill

“GyplastFill”, is a leveling plaster in the form of whitish powder, ready for manual application after the addition of the specific amount of water. It’s mechanically mixed and automatically packed with constant tested ratios, composed from primary raw materials and high quality additives enhancing the product performance. Natural elements compose 98% of the total weight of GyplastFill as it contains Perlite, a light weight volcanic granules after thermal treatment to be used as light weight filler replacing sand. After adding the right portion of clean water, it gives a homogeneous mortar ready for application without any further additives.

“Gyplast Fill”, after its setting gives a hard and thick coat that can reach up to 5 cm per layer (a filling coat)without the need or slurry projection. It also features a very high adhesion to concrete and all types of bricks substrates. In addition, it provides the high coverage rate with the lowest percentage of waste, a very high productivity per worker per day and an ability to build a thickness up to 5 cm every hour if needed.

“Gyplast Fill”, gives a rough decorative texture that can be smoothed using “Gyplast Mortar”

Key facts

Works as a filling and leveling plaster on top of different types of substrates with a thickness up to 5 cm per layer with the ability a new layer every hour till the alignment with the screeds with a very low percentage of waste.

Perfect for sites, where flooring systems has already been installed due to the extreme ease of cleaning.

Light weight, “Gyplast Fill” weight per m2 represents 45% of the weight of traditional plastering materials per m2

Aids thermal insulation which reduces the required heating and cooling energy which in return is reflected on the cost of consumption of electricity.

Rich with adhesion additives eliminating the need for cement slurry projection before application

The consistence of the mortar after mixing with water and cohesion additives included in its formula reduces significantly the application waste compared to traditional methods

 No curing after application

At the end, the final surface is a whitish, strong and decorative rough texture

Doesn’t ignite and delays the spreading of fire

Very healthy both during application or housing and doesn’t cause any odors

Environment friendly as it consumes a low thermal energy during manufacturing and it is packed in recyclable sacks

Average coverage rate reaching 60 m2/Ton at a 2 cm thickness, according to type and roughness of substrates

Adjusted setting time ranging 40-60 mins according to application and storage conditions

Guaranteed by Saint-Gobain Gyproc, the world leader manufacturer and producer of building materials

Easy to handle and store, resulting in an organized and clean working site

Easy to prepare, only spray the powder to the indicated ratio of water then mix thoroughly till reaching the required consistency

Application

Preparation

Substrate must be sound, free from dust, loose particles, cement laitance, curing compounds, oil, grease or any other contamination
Ensure the mixing container and the application tools are clean especially form waste of previous mix and it’s recommended to clean the tools directly after usage

Mixing

“Gyplast Fill” is sprayed on water with the right ratios (Don’t add water to powder), then leave for 2 mins till it soaks completely. Stir the mix perfectly in all directions till reaching a homogeneous mortar with the convenient consistency for the application. It is preferred to use mechanical mixing

Application

“Gyplast Fill” is workable for 45 mins starting from the start of mixing, initial setting in 55 mins and reaches final setting in 2 days on average according surface conditions, and thickness, weather conditions and humidity.
Apply "Gyplast Fill" directly on b ricks, concrete ceilings with the required thickness with a maximum thickness of 50 mm per layer. You can apply a new layer each hour. After building the thickness Gyplast Fill is levelled using ruler (preferably edged ruler)
