SAINT-GOBAIN GYPROC SETS TRACK OF NEW SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION STRATEGY IN EGYPT

On the morning of the 7th of November 2021, Major General/ Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria received in his office ,  Ambassador / Mohamed Nahed, Consul General of France in Alexandria, and Mr. / Sebastien Guillemot General manager of Saint Gobain Gyproc Egypt which is one of the 100 largest industrial groups around the world, because of its experience extending for about 356 years, and it has a role Effective in providing innovative solutions to the needs of the building materials market, including saving energy uses and preserving environmental resources, during the meeting they discussed the future cooperation between Egypt and France between the two sides, especially in the investment field .

Al-Sharif affirmed that the governorate is keen to increase cooperation with the French side in all fields, enhance investment opportunities, and overcome any obstacles facing French investments in Alexandria , Al-Sharif pointed to the strength and depth of Egyptian-French relations Pointing out that there are many agreements between Alexandria and French cities that emphasize cultural and commercial communication between the two countries.

On his part; The Consul thanked the Governor for the warm reception, and affirmed his constant keenness to consolidate and strengthen joint relations between the two sides at all levels, adding that the French Consulate is fully prepared to provide full support and consultations to Alexandria Governorate in many development projects .
